Background	Intermedin-53 is an important regulatory factor in mean arterial blood pressure and heart rate through its central and peripheral action. It shows cardioprotective effects against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Intermedin-53 coupled to a carrier protein.
