Background	BLAME (B Lymphocyte Activator Macrophage Expressed) also called SLAMF8. BLAME is a type I transmembrane protein that belongs to the CD2 family of Ig superfamily receptors. BLAME is mostly expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells.
