Applications | FC, IF, IHC, WB |
Recommend Dilution | Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1 µg/million cells. Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1 µg/ml. Western Blotting: 0.5-1 µg/ml. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen and Formalin-Fixed Paraffin Sections: 0.5-1 µ/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Positive Control: A431 cells, Skin, Colon carcinoma. |
Reactivity | Bovine, Frog, Guinea Pig, Goat, Human, Marmoset, Mouse, Porcine, Rat |

Background | Cytokeratins are a subfamily of intermediate filaments and characterized by remarkable biochemical diversity. Cytokeratins are represented in epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides, molecular weight between 40 kDa and 68 kDa. The individual cytokeratin polypeptides are designated 1 to 20 and divided into the type I (acidic cytokeratins 9-20) and type II (basic to neutral cytokeratins 1-8) families. |
Synonyms | Cytokeratin pan-reactive, pan Keratin |
