Summary	CD45 is a part of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family. Depending on the relative influence, CD45 can interact with the extracellular galectin lattice or the intracellular actin cytoskeleton. That influence can cause CD45 to move in or out of the immunological synapse membrane microdomain.
